SDS Front End - See it in Action!
The M300 FX3 US Spec features Kawada's exclusive Strut Damper System (SDS) front end. A small damper tube incorporated into a modern reactive-caster type front end gives smooth and precise dampening. Making the car consistent, predictable and easy to drive, it also reduces front end maintenance, requiring less frequent "Re-lubing" than when applied directly to the king-pin.
The 2.1mm thick carbon fiber main chassis, upper and lower pod plates, are made from high quality material. The chassis' narrow design prevents rubbing during cornering.
2.5mm thick carbon fiber rear brace and tweak brace. Two side spring positions available - inboard or outboard. Precision machined aluminum pod plates with adjustable ride height via plastic bearing inserts.
Graphite rear axle and US Spec aluminum rear hubs allow for using a variety of "standard" offset wheels. Precision ball differential with Kawada's proprietary ultra flat diff rings.
Aluminum damper tubes provide precise side dampening. 3 mounting positions for the center shock mount allow for shock length adjustment. Optional side shock available. Aluminum constant volume center shock with threaded body. 2.5mm carbon fiber center shock mount with adjustable shock angle.
Plastic battery retainers and rubber band battery holder make battery changes easy and secure.
